It's the little half that rules — you just gotta run the Fool's!
April 11, 2021 • 9:17 am
June 15th update: Due to continued restrictions on gathering size here in BC, we unfortunately cannot host the Fools Run on the postponed date of August 9th as we had hoped. Instead, with the support of our title and presenting sponsors we will be skipping 2020 entirely and focussing our resources on a great event in 2021. We are not interested in putting on a reduced or virtual event. The Fools Run is all about the experience!
So now you're wondering....
What happens to my existing registration? All active entries for the 2020 half marathon and relay will be automatically forwarded over to the 2021 event, at no charge. No action is needed on your part. If you already deferred to 2021, no change needed.
I didn't register for 2020. How can I sign up for 2021? New entries will be accepted starting January 2021.
What about my child's entry to the Jester Dash? Entries in the free 2020 Kids' Jester Dash will be deleted and all new entries for 2021 will be taken beginning in January. There are two reasons for doing this rather than deferring entries: 1) most children will have probably gone up a shirt size by the 2021 date; and 2) if a registered child was 7 years old for the 2020 date, they will be too old to participate in 2021.
Please note, we are unable to offer refunds except for one special circumstance: if you registered after March 14th for the August 2020 date but you cannot attend the April 2021 date, we will refund your entry. Please contact us by email if that applies to you. Thank you for understanding. Keep running and we'll see you next April!

"Just wanted to say this was my first time participating in this run and that for a small town you put on a great one. Thank you to the volunteers, all were so amazing and supportive. This run is very well organized, and I loved every minute, even all the hills. Thank you for a great Sunday run. Can’t wait to do it again." — Christa Dey-Girard, Maple Ridge, BC (2019)
