Food Bank Donations

Help the Sunshine Coast Food Bank and win great prizes!

As runners, we are usually thinking about food, to refuel after training and prepare for the next run. Many families on the Sunshine Coast are also thinking about food for a different reason — because their cupboards are bare. The Sunshine Coast Food Bank is there to help them.

Please support the communities you will be running through: donate to the Food Bank when you register online, or using the button on this page, or bring cash or a non-perishable food item or personal care item to Packet Pickup.

As a thank-you your name will be entered into a draw for some great prizes! This is a separate draw only for those who donate to the food bank. Winning names to be drawn on race day and posted at the awards tent. There will be one draw for online donors (automatically entered) and another for in-person donors. In-person donors must fill out an entry slip and put in the 'Food Bank Draw' box at packet pickup.

You can also bring items and enter the draw at the awards pickup tent at the finish line.

Our goal is to collect at least $2000 in cash donations.

On race day, if applicable, we donate leftover fresh food items to the Food Bank as well, as they have refrigeration.
